Thermal Energy
Located at each point of the compass, the four WtE plants in Voskresensk (south), Naro-Fominsk (west), Noginsk (east) and Solnechnogorsk (north) represent the efficient, hygienic future of waste treatment in Moscow. Once they go into operation, the four facilities will supply more than 1.5 million people in the Russian capital with electricity. They will help achieve the energy transition set down in the Green Tariff, which stipulates that by 2022, 4.5% of energy generated in the country must come from renewable resources.
