Supply Management aims to contribute to the success of Kanadevia Inova by increasing the competitiveness and profitability of its commercial offering from 3rd party suppliers and contractors; and ensuring good quality, sustainable processes and solutions in a time efficient manner.
The principle responsibilities of Supply Management are:

- Mitigate Risk
- Add Value
- Ensure Code of Conduct
- Optimise Supply Efficiency
In all cases Supply Management ensure a fair and unbiased approach to Supply Markets and decisions pertaining to them. The Kanadevia Inova Purchasing Policy is based upon CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) Purchasing Policy
To accomplish this the department is segmented into 2 main work areas:
- Category Management – responsible for the proactive management of key spend categories and their resulting Purchases (e.g.: Installation & Erection, Mechanical, Electrical & Controls, Indirects such as IT, Telecoms, Travel, Office Equipment & Furniture).
- Project Procurement Management – responsible for ensuring the optimal management for supplies and services on client projects, ensuring site specific Terms & Conditions, liaising with suppliers per project needs, trouble shooting and claims management as required.
In addition, Supply Management drives the overall management of approved Suppliers, their selection, ongoing assessment and development where required.
