Novara Biogas, IT

The Novara AD biogas plant in San Nazzaro Sesia is located in the Italian province of Novara. This project, carried out by Kanadevia Inova in collaboration with our client Cesaro MAC Import for the end user Koster SRL Composting, marks a significant step forward in the implementation of sustainable energy solutions in the field of renewable gas.

The Novara AD plant is based on the proven Kompogas^® process for anaerobic digestion of source-separated organic waste (SSO/FORSU, according to the Italian definition) and has a processing capacity of 58,800 tons per year. At the heart of the technical implementation are two KVI Kompogas^® PF2100-C digesters. The plant also includes a biogas upgrading system and a biomethane liquefaction unit supplied by the client.
