About the project

The Pianfei biogas plant has officially reached commercial operation (COD) in September 2025.

Pianfei is one of the first biomethane plants to operate under the Ministerial Decree 2022 by the Italian Ministry for the Ecological Transition which supports the production of biomethane. The plant benefits from a 15-year feed-in-premium tariff starting from COD and has received full recognition of the Capex Grant requested from the GSE - Italian agency for energy efficiency and renewable sources.

What makes this project special

Kanadevia Inova designed, built, and operates the Pianfei plant. It is the first plant fully owned and operated by Kanadevia Inova in this region for biomethane grid feed-in.
