Kanadevia Inova designed and built the Skelton Grange Waste-to-Energy (WtE) hub in Leeds. With advanced moving grate technology and XeroSorp® dry flue gas cleaning system, Skelton Grange delivers efficient resource recovery, robust emissions performance and high operational availability.

Built on the former Skelton Grange Electricity Works site, this two-line facility transforms non-recyclable municipal and commercial waste into renewable power – significantly reducing landfill volumes and recovering valuable resources such as metals and incinerator bottom ash (IBA) for reuse and recycling.

Skelton Grange reflects our continued partnership with enfinium, following the successful delivery of Ferrybridge 1 and Ferrybridge 2 in West Yorkshire. Skelton Grange strengthens local energy resilience and contributes to the UK’s broader decarbonisation journey.
