COCCUS Digester

COCCUS™ is for wet anaerobic digestion that operates at mesophilic temperatures. This process requires input materials with low solids content (8–12%). The tank is reinforced concrete and equipped with two or three huge REMEX™ paddle agitators. The agitator's drive motor is installed on the outside wall of the COCCUS™ fermenter, leaving just the polyamide bearings inside. The tank is heated by hydronic heating installed on the internal tank wall. Biological desulfurization is integrated into the roof structure of the gas storage facility, allowing for the cost-effective removal of a significant portion of the hydrogen sulphide.
