Kanadevia Inova developed its fabric filter to remove solids (dust) from the flue gas. It’s a physical separation process where the solids are filtered out at the surface of a gas-permeable fabric. If the fabric filter is used in a dry (XeroSorp process) or semi-dry (Kanadevia Inova SemiDry) sorption process, a filter layer of reagents and fly ash forms on the filter bags, where pollutants are separated out.
The filter is designed to be as cost-effective and environmentally friendly as possible. The latest version meets all the different legal regulations and customer requirements that an efficient, state-of-the-art flue gas system for waste-to-energy applications is expected to fulfil.
